Time and date

This project is for people who speak different languages and live in different parts of the world. For this reason, all times and dates here use Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), which for everyday purposes is the same as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

UTC is a universal time: it does not depend on the time zone of any country.

This also means that the new day in this game starts at 00:00 UTC, which is very likely not midnight where you live. The "Day ends in" row of the user menu always shows how much time is left until the next day starts.
